Core Return/Warranty
US Powertrain standard warranty for cars & light trucks up to and including 1 ton is 36 months/36,000 miles. All commercial, farm, and larger than 1-ton trucks is 12 month/18,000 miles from original date of purchase. This is a general warranty statement & not to be construed as a complete warranty. There is NO warranty on vehicles modified from stock. Cores must have good housing, be assembled & drained of all fluids & returned in original package to receive full credit. Customer must notify us within 90 days of delivery that the core is ready for pick-up. Thank you!
NOTE: Customer is liable for any freight claims arising from the failure to properly drain their return cores.
Core Timeline
Purchase & Core Deposit
When purchasing a remanufactured drivetrain or differential component, a refundable core deposit is included in the order total. This ensures the original part can be returned for rebuilding.
Install Your New Component
Once your new part arrives, install it in your vehicle and keep the original core. Make sure the core is drained of fluids and packaged securely for return shipping.
Return the Core
Ship your original drivetrain or differential core back using the provided instructions. Many customers reuse the original shipping box for convenience.
Inspection & Refund
Once the core is received and inspected, your core deposit will be refunded. Refunds are typically processed within a few business days after inspection.
